"The Westlink M7 Cities Marathon is a 42.195 km marathon run by Blacktown City Council in Western Sydney, Australia since 2006. 2015 will be the 10th year the Cities Marathon is held on the Westlink M7 shared pathway. The Blacktown International Sportspark Athletics Facility is now the event venue, the marathon will start and finish on the athletics track in front of the grandstand."

"This course is spectacular, quite often regarded as the must do multi day hike in the Blue Mountains, however we think it’s better to do it in a day!!! It has all the facets of what trail running is about – fast downhill fire/single trail, gnarly uphill, stairs, rolling single trail, creek/river crossings, rock clambering and diverse flora. From Mt Solitary itself the vista includes areas of Lake Burrogarang, through to the Southern Highlands, Kanagra Boyd and The ‘Wild Dog Mountains’. The course also encompasses historical and culturally significant area’s of the Gundungurra Nation."

2015 Six Foot Track Marathon

"What has been described as "the toughest marathon in Australia, if not the world" is held each March in the Blue Mountains, Katoomba, NSW, Australia, sandwiched between the brutal bush fire season and Easter. With more than 25 years of experience under its belt, this is the premier trail Marathon in Australia, and it is expected that the full quota of 850 runners will start each year's event. The runners will run along the Six Foot Track, a bridle trail originally cut in 1884 starting from the Historic "Marked Tree" at Katoomba to the Jenolan Caves, a distance of 45 kms."
